Riverdale is proud to be working with the North East Autism Society at their facilities across the North East, ensuring their confidential wastepaper is securely collected, shredded and recycled via Riverdale’s processing sites in Gateshead and Durham, in compliance with the UKSSA (UK Security Shredding Association) Code of Practice, and with UK Data Protection law.

The North East Autism Society is a registered charity, and for over 40 years has provided bespoke services for autistic and neurodivergent children, young people, adults and their families. The services include education for children aged 3-19, post-16 education and social/vocational training, along with supported and open employment opportunities for adults. In addition, the charity provides year-round residential placements and supported living services for its clients. The charity works directly with parents and carers, offering family support which includes short breaks, home support, and evening and weekend activities.
